Ahmed Salim is a passionate marketer and a digital media enthusiast with a particular interest in modern day marketing. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Nairobi.

Joining design and advertising in 2004, he worked with many renowned brands, including Nestle Foods, Crown Paints (formerly Crown Berger,) Mabati Rolling Mills, EABL, KCB, Safal Group, Bidco Africa, DTB Bank, Bank of Africa, Ramco Group and Vitafoam Ltd among others.

While working in an agency, Ahmed Salim founded the #FeedKe initiative, in 2011. Owing to the success and impact of the campaign, he was named Philanthropist of the Year (2011) Also was behind the PAMOJA campaign along with A PR agency and Kenya RedCross during the Japan earthquake that took hundreds of lives.

Sensing a gap in how digital media was run in Kenya, and based off his professional experience, Ahmed along with other stakeholders formed an agency that he runs full time.

Currently, Ahmed Salim continues in his role as managing director in his agency. In this capacity, he oversees the day to day running of the company, prospecting and developing business and in creating business strategies.

Outside the intense dynamics of the fast-changing digital world, Ahmed finds inspiration in his family, photography, start-ups, farming, travel and community causes.
